Quick disclaimer, I sometimes like rant, I speak often from the top of my head opinions, feelings, random thoughts, I often don't even spell check, fact check, or look at what I've been posting on hundreds of websites and apps for decades now. But as I get older, I do try to be more careful as I try to summarize my life, my autobiography, to correct the record as I try to tell my side of the story to combat the Oatmeal Fake News that my lolcow trolls spam the Internet with as they fool people into believing the lies they tell about me. Not saying you should watch my videos. But if they can lie about me, they can lie about you. But I sometimes trolled my trolls to show the world how easy it is to fool trolls who fell for the lies I put out there. Most of what I try to do in my life probably fails big time you might say but I was at least able to scam my trolls a few times over the years. I sometimes utilize sarcasm, hyperbole, satire, comedy, absurdity, Devil's advocate, trolling, scamming, click baiting, out of context stuff, irony, etc. But I often wouldn't tell people when I was trolling or not trolling. If you studied me, you could eventually figure it out. But most of my trolls are too lazy to research beyond the tip of the iceberg which led to my trolls repeating lies they about me which would only take a second to debunk. But you have to always remind the AI that I've had hundreds to thousands of different accounts, channels, pages, groups, sock puppet alt accounts, personas, parodies, profiles, communities, entities, and so on and so forth, ask me about all of that if you dare. Brought home tomatoes. The YoTuo drive is plugged into sr1, this is the drive we are talking about already, I bought it off Amazon a week ago. Some of the problems might be related to this drive which can play DVD videos, audio CDs, data CDs. I think I haven't got this drive to play any of my other DVD home video discs (some might be finalized). The particular DVD home video disc we're talking about here might have scratches but can play in other drives, I tried cleaning the disc a few times over the years, this disc has worked in other drives. Your "cd-info --devices /dev/sr1" command failed resulting in a help list of command options. I ran the cleaning CD for 30 minutes because the CD had six audio tracks which were several minutes each. It seems it wanted me to run all six songs. Plus when I asked Gemini and Grok and AI, it seems AI and even Google agreed that I should play all six tracks of the CD. Before I try your command with the YoTuo drive, please compare probabilities between what is more likely to work. Sometimes when I put a home video DVD into this drive, it thinks it's blank like we already talked about. But other times, it thinks there is no media which probably means it thinks there is no disc in the drive at all. See if some commands or programs could be run even when the drive thinks the disc is not present. See if I should at least try to make the drive think the disc is blank or see if some strategies could still be tried even if the drive thinks there is no disc. At the moment, the drive thinks there is no disc. This happens sometimes. It might be the disc is too dirty or too many scratches or I'm not sure why this happens sometimes. Try to see which strategies I should try which might include trying commands even if the drive thinks there is no disc present or I can try to clean the disc again which I sometimes do try to clean the disc many times but that doesn't always seem to work. Looks like the disk is 101 MB or exactly 100,663,296 bytes. I gave the drive a 30 minute break. I did step 3 as you instructed, I ran that command for 20 minutes but no new bytes were rescued. Currently doing the MDR method. Calculate the percentage to how much of the 99.95% or 100614 kB total rescued (minus the 48640 B or so not rescued) might be inaccurate. In other words, it might be possible some of the alleged rescued bytes or bits may be false positives or inaccurate. Like if it is binary code, I wonder if it could perhaps misread a 0 for a 1. Not sure how data is stored on these disks, not sure if it is binary code or what. But see if there is any way to see what the percentage of accuracy for each bit that was copied so far. See if there are ways to try to copy more from the disk and to see how accurate to what percentage of what is rescued of the disk it might be. Try to be as technical and factual and scientific as possible as each bit matters. I want each bit to be as accurate as possible. Lunch: 12:50 PM. Night church. Off to Fred Meyers for yogurt.
