Lookism

Lookism is discriminatory treatment toward physically unattractive people; mainly in the workplace but also in social settings. For the kind of society we have today, people judge mainly by looks. A lot of doctors work for plastic surgeries when our world needs surgeons for internal organs the most. A lot of people reinvent looks but hospitals need peopls who could repair what's more important than looks. You see, looks have been a big deal to our society. People are now allergic to ugly ones. Wait, are there ugly ones? No, they're beautifully unique. We can see how fast people change from being ugly ones to ugly once. Mind the spelling.

As a result for lookism, people are forced to change themselves to satisfy society's standard. People fix and reinvent themselves when there's nothing wrong with it. Mainly, to avoid being discriminated. Because unique people are tured of hearing negativity from common people. That's how unique makes up to being common. Lil' did we know, reinventing the features we have and we are born of having, makes us look like everybody else. We all should stop the practicing lookism. We all are made for something, different purposes and we are killing our diversity by setting looks standard. Our world is slowly becoming a a monotonous one.
