Urban beekeeping is on the rise with thousands of new people around the world becoming interest in the last several years, there are efforts that have been growing in various towns and cities.

Around the United States, in places like Ohio, Nebraska, and other areas, membership with beekeeping groups has increased steadily.

In places like London, Hong Kong, and other areas, beehives have tripled in some cases. Prior to the COVID-19 situation, there had already seemed to be growing demand for this activity and the goods. Now, with many seeing honey as a super food of sorts and a food item with a great shelf life option, and wanting to 'do more' with growing and planting at home etc, the surge in popularity for beekeeping continues.
