Vikings in the greenhouse - Einstok White Ale
After last week's Norse invasion now we've got an Icelandic Viking hiding between the nasturtiums in the greenhouse.

This is a White Ale, brewed in Iceland, 60km away from the Arctic Circle with some of the purest water in the world.

It pours very clear, very clear for what I expected to be a wheat bear. This is more along the crystal wheat beer style. Lovely generous head that stays on.

Putting the bottle behind the glass produces a pretty cool image.

The aroma is wheaty, some floral notes and a tiny bit of orange. Tastes crisp, the fruitness of the coriander shines through the wheat and the orange comes after; mouthfeel is a bit on the watery side. All in all, a nice refreshing beer, but not extraordinary. Not feeling quite like a viking, maybe I should have drank it from the skulls of my enemies... if there's a next time...
My little avocado sapling is growing, more leaves are developing.

Lemon cucumbers are still producing like crazy.

I probably have thousands of these tiny cucamelons now. These plants grow like there's no tomorrow and expand everywhere.

That's about it, the Icelandic invader was slayed in the end, but not before giving another nice pic.

Thanks for having a look!

Outstanding work on this post!
Thank you mate!
I enjoyed playing Viking with this one so I'm glad you liked it as well!
Yeah, I had this image of a true Viking beer being, you know, dark and cloudy. Man, the clarity on that is outstanding.
Love the viking dude on the label. That rocks!
Same for me, dark, cloudy and thick, true to the name of liquid bread heh.
I like the label as well, simple and clean, it also helps that the viking dude is cool as hell.
Cheers man!
Looks like a very good beer. Would be great after a long hot day in hell.
Most definitely!
Nice beer post. I don't know if I like my wheat beers to be clear, but I'd probably still drink this due to the uniqueness. And the label.
Thanks!
I do not like my wheat clear either, it harms the mouthfeel as well.
But just like you said, who could resist this cute little warrior?
Nice post. Hope you enjoyed the beer!
Thank you!
Indeed I did, beer is always appreciated :D
