Who understands Beijing this morning?
After two days and nights of continuous rain, the air carries a fresh, clean scent.
The sky is spotless, truly crisp and clear—a perfect autumn day.
Fallen leaves carpet the ground, rice stalks hang heavy with raindrops,
pearl-like droplets roll on lotus leaves,
and wolf grass glistens in the sunlight...
Before we knew it, late autumn had arrived.
Now, surely, is the most beautiful time of year in Beijing.
