What do you believe in?
I want to know what each of you believe in.
If you believe in a creator, what do you call him/her/them?
If you don't adhere to a creation stand point, I want to hear from you to!
I JUST WANT TO GET TO KNOW WHAT EACH OF YOU BELIEVE.
We all believe something, right?
So tell me a little about what you believe below.
REMEMBER...I LOVE YOU BECAUSE YOU'RE YOU...NOT BECAUSE YOU FOLLOW A CERTAIN BELIEF SYSTEM
So don't be afraid to speak the truths of your beliefs. Be proud!
I'll start things off.
- I believe in a creator. I believe he/she is an embodiment of the male AND female essence.
- I believe above all other things our creator made us with love. With the primary design being for us to also love.
- I believe the words love and creator are synonymous and completely interchangable
- I believe through our creator we have a collective conscience more powerful then any force we have ever known.
- I believe this conscienceness has been subdued (how, I do not know) so we can be enslaved by evil powers. These same powers seek to keep humans divided and embittered toward one another.
- I believe this is done to prevent the unified love of humanity becoming a reality, for that would destroy the highest leader of evil and the minions he has sat in place, in the form of governments and other abusive overseerers.
I BELIEVE THAT LOVE CANNOT BE STOPPED AND THAT IT WILL ALWAYS WIN.

I really love your post here. I've believed in a creator ever since I read the works of St. Thomas Aquinas. His approach through logic at ascertaining the existence of a higher power was truly enlightening to my "logic based" thinking at the time. I found you through the #payitforward contest. Well thank you very much sir. Coming from a man of your stature that truly means a lot. Yes when you sit down and think about it logically the question answers itself. I like to think of it one way, in kind of a simple set of terms. If I look at something as simple as a basketball and I tell a friend that that basketball just came into existence and it wasn't created I would be laughed at. Yet we can look at something as complex as our bodies Our World or the intricacies in which nature works and say,"oh yeah it's just a big coincidence, and it all just got here by chance and it came from nothing." To me that type of thinking should be the definition of insanity. However anymore it seems like it's normal. They teach our children in school that they came from monkeys and they're not answerable to anybody when they die, and then when they act like animals somehow we're surprised. Anyway brother I've got a lot of people to get back to you so I bid you adieu. I send all of my love to you and all of yours until we meet again. And I asked in our creator bless yous.
I believe in human beings.
I believe in those beings who have time to look for solutions to the problems and anguish of people without expecting anything in return.
I believe in that human being who respects his neighbor, his co-worker, his friend, the stranger. The one that gives his seat to the elderly and that gives him preferences.
I believe in that human being who always gives a smile and says good morning. I believe in that human being who is willing to give his hand to the fallen.
I believe in that human being who keeps his sorrows so as not to sadden you.
I believe in that human being who shares his knowledge and makes others less bumpy.
I only believe in human beings, in my turtles and dogs. In the birds that sing every morning.

You have made me cry.(Happy tears.) this is the second time I'm had to stop to dry my eyes after reading a comment before I could go on. You make my heart overflow with happiness. For you to say such sweet words about me is unbelievable. I'm pretty sure I've never even seen you around here before. The creator theory meant that as complex as we are as human beings, there are are more complex beings that can create us (being less complex than them)... but that theory will then expand to who creates the creators? even more complex beings?
So probably yes, i believe there is "a" creator from a higher dimension.
There is another theory that we are here in the world and body, because we choose to be here.. meaning our energy (or soul) came from a higher plane, and we choose to come into this fleshy body to achieve something...
I have no problem believing in higher demensions. I even think the "word" dimension could be interchanged with frequency. A whole lot of our world that we perceive is completely based on frequencies. From light frequencies to sound frequencies. And we are only able to perceive a given amount of those frequencies and the rest are outside of our around my perception. It sure would make for a good possibility of a place to hide any place like heaven if it does exist. But, wow, it was good talking to you thank you for taking the time to share your beliefs with me. I believe in GOD the Father almighty. I believe that He created us in His likeness.
And what a loving father he is. And yes I believe we were made in our creators likeness also. Can I ask what specific role does Jesus Christ play in your beliefs? I believe that there is no such thing as freedom. We are always bound by something or to someone. We are captives of what we believe in and what we stand for and fight for.
I had never really thought of that. But I think that there is truth there. whether it be a government, a boss, a friend, or a significant other. I think you're right, there is always a lack of freedom. In America, people believe that they are free. But this belief has been indoctrinated into their mind so they don't realize the truth. I don't believe however that anybody can imprison your heart without us allowing it. No one can stop us from loving, so I believe we have that freedom. Thank you so much for sharing. I think that our desires and where we set our hearts bind us to them. We are free to do what we want but it lies in us how we surrender to ourselves to our desires. We free ourselves of one thing only to be bound to another.

I love conversations that talk about others beliefs. I really like to hear others opinions when they are not the same as mine. It is just so neat to see what and why people choose to believe in what they do.
My beliefs are crazy. I actually believe a little truth to be in all. I believe in gods & goddess, I also believe the god in the bible to be true. I believe jesus was real. I believe in a person gaining energy, peace and love from all elements of earth. I believe in wiccan beliefs, chrisitan beliefs and the faith of those that say there is nothing. I think that there are many things beyond us. We recieve what we believe. If you think there is nothing, you will get nothing when you die. If you are open to spirits and divination, it will come to you.
Awesome. I love your outlook. I believe so much of our true history is obscured with half lies or outright lies. I think a lot of the events of the world are scripted by the powers of evil. I believe in LOVE. I think this should be the ONLY relegion. There goes respect unity peace compassion and joy! People need to wake up and see that all relegions at their very core teach love and gratitude. Look within and see that you are love made with love from love :) Peace!

What we do to others is just a manifestation of love. Others may have greater love and others may have less. How we show it depends on how much love we have.
I believe in a mash up of things. The creator, to other gods that do different jobs. I believe in an older system perhaps, I just go with what feels right to me.
I am finding out that quite a few people believe like that. I mix of a few things. I think that's good. Ya, it is pretty true what you say. I feel more connections in the way the ancient Egyptians believed today rather than the one fixed religion. All in all, we should be thankful for what we are giving on this earth :)
Hello there!! I am back again. hehehe :) So, what I am going to share now is kind of different. Because my boyfriend also want to make an entry for this one.. hehehe :)
So, here's mine:
For us, we believe in God. :) We believe in the Holy Trinity. God the Father, God the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We believe that God the Father sacrificed His son, Jesus Christ to save us from our sins. We believe that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. And no one will be able to come to the Father except through Him. :)
And this is my boyfriend's answer:
I believe in God. I was raised as a Catholic and had been attending church ever since I was a small child. My grandparents were impressed with how quickly I learned the concept of being in church. I recently received the early Catholic sacraments such as Baptism, Confirmation, and First Communion. I may have been late in receiving my sacraments, but I completed them none the less and can officially be part of the Catholic family.

I believe that there is a creative force that animates the universe, one which cannot be wholly understood. I believe that we, as living beings, are reflections of divinity, and that we are tasked with stewardship of the world on which we find ourselves living.
I believe that we express our wishes into the world, through meditation, prayer, spellcraft, whatever means we personally choose, and by being mindful as we express these wishes, we bring ourselves into closer alignment with nature and the divine.
I believe that Gd, gods & goddesses, whatever people worship, are representations of a divine cosmic force, and each person finds what resonates with them most; to me, all are one.
I believe that belief is a thing we choose, and it can free us, if chosen knowingly and with joy. Nothing I believe is threatened by another's differing belief—I have chosen what I need, and so have they. It is no one's right to force their beliefs on me, and if my own do not resonate with them, they are free to disregard them.
I believe that my own consciousness will dissipate into the world upon my death, and all that was me will become part of all that is beyond me, on a cellular and spiritual level. I do not believe in heaven, but in a return to the whole of creation. I will end, and what was my body and spirit will never come together again. I believe that it is incumbent upon me, given the fleetingness of my own existence, to do as much good in the world as I possibly can in the time I am given, however long or short that time may end up being.

And, since I suppose it's relevant here, I'm Jewish. Pretty reform, kinda witchy. (By which I mean, I use some metaphysical tools, like tarot, as guides. Trusting in the creative force of the universe to help me. That sort of thing.)
