Dysmorphia. 2018.

I've recently been working hard on improving my studio lighting and flash techniques. Sarah came to the studio for some headshots that she could use in her modelling and acting portfolio. After we had done those, she asked if there was anything that I wanted to do. I was very happy with the way this picture came out. It can be a metaphor for so many things, but I will leave it up to you what significance you want to assign it, if any.

She's cross lit with two strip lights that I made from old cardboard boxes and I filled in the shadows on her face a little with a small handheld softbox.
