According to the polls, Biden is behind Trump and would lose the election if it is held today.

So here is the thing. I know that polls can be wrong but they are the best indicator of what would happen if we had an election today. Usually, it is the campaign that is behind that wants more debates and yet Biden's team wants less. The only reasonable explanation I can come up with is that Biden has serious mental issues that they are trying to hide.

Perhaps even more serious than what we see in public. I mean it is not like that Trump is a fantastic debater, so why reduce the opportunities for Biden to catch up with Trump on the debate stage or the opportunity to let him show himself to be a jerk. I am open to alternative explanations but the mental incapacity one seems to be the best one right now.
