BIANCA OJUKWU @ 50

A Golden 50, Bianca is indeed charmingly beautiful and inspiration to many young ladies and women.

May I join well meaning men and women of goodwill today in celebrating the unique, elegant and beautiful Amb. Bianca Ojukwu as she commemorates her birthday anniversary.

Birthdays are special moments when we thank God for the grace of life. We thank God for the gift of His goodness and benevolence. It’s also and more importantly, a moment to sit back and review how far we have got and gone in life. We do an inward review of our human person, the challenges of the past, the realities of the present and the tales unknown of the future.

Barr. Bianca Ojukwu, born with a silver spoon into the Onoh family of Enugu-Ngwo rose, to excelling as a beauty queen before her eventual marriage to the late Biafran warlord, Ikemba himself, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu.

In her career path, the amiable Ikemba’s bride has worked as a domestic aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan and later was appointed an Ambassador of Nigeria on foreign mission to Spain.

It’s pertinent to add quickly at this juncture that the role of governance and forming a part of any leadership circle is to impact and touch lives positively. I’m hopeful that she indeed touched one or two lives in those capacities she saw herself. I also hope she brought home true dividends of democracy as well as using her contacts to help the extended Ojukwu family, her immediate community of Nnewi and all her people.

At 50, she had peaked a height in age where indolence shouldn’t form a part of any being, where resilience should have formed as a habit and excellence intertwined with virtue, decency, integrity, carriage and charisma forming the basis for every aspiration. I pray that she be guided on the path of truth, justice, equity, fairness and fair play, always.

I congratulate Madam Bianca Ojukwu as she attains the glorious golden age of 50 years, while wishing her bountiful blessings and happiness in years to come. The golden age of 50 truly looks good on her and yes, she still has that radiance, that elegance and that charming beauty.
