Ingredients:
12 egg yellow
Butter
3 cups of water
2 cups of sugar
¼ cup of vanilla essence
3 tbsp of rum
Preparation:
To cook the false eggs you will need small molds such as coffee cups or the same egg shells used as molds, these "containers" are placed in a pot with "a mattress" of dried corn leaves in the bottom and about 5 cms of water, on this the molds that are going to be used are placed and cooked all covered.
Place the egg yellows in a bowl and shake very well until it has a creamy consistency and a light yellow color, spread the molds with melted butter, and fill them halfway and take them to cook as explained for 10 minutes or until the introduce them a toothpick that comes out dry.
Apart prepare syrup in a pot by placing the water and sugar, let it boil and cook over high heat for about 15 minutes, lower the flame on medium and add the eggs, let cook for another 5 minutes, at the end mix the vanilla and the rum with a part of the syrup and pour it in the whole mixture. Let cool and take to the fridge
