You don't have to be an ornithologist to enjoy
Not too far from here, there is a small lake with a lot of reed. It's the spot for bird lovers as it isn't just a hot spot for migratory birds taking a short rest before they continue their journey, but it's also possible to get quite close to them. Although it does require a telephoto lens for getting a really good close up shot... my 3x zoom isn't really all that great. There are quite a few shelters built right on the water shoreline from where birds can be seen as close as 30 yards
