Thanks for your suggestion @artmonkey ! I will look into some decals. I'm sorry about your nuthatch. My nuthatches are some of my favorite birds, they're so darling. We also had a sparrow run into the window last week and like your nuthatch, her end seemed to have come instantaneously, so hopefully no suffering...
