RE: First Time A Bird Swooped At My Head!

in #birds8 years ago

It's @transcript-junky, the "bearer of JUICY free gifts"... This one is RIGHT down your ALLEY, @havok777 : http://backyardbirding.us . I believe that this new post of yours is ANOTHER step in the right direction away from "...took another nap to escape the crazy society..." to something more along the lines of ... "found something HOPEFULL right in my own backyard..." I think this is a good focus - as it is for ALL of us. This reminds me of the work that @violetmed is doing with her exploration of butterflies, their lifestyles, and the environment/plants they interact with... Please continue with this type of exploration...

I was interested in butterflies when I was younger too, this type of thing helps bring me back to childhood interests, which is good. I like the fact that we made this whole garden where the birds now come to! There wasn't a single tree or bush in the yard when we started, now it's attracting more animals! I like that. One year I even saw a lizard! Cool 'cause I don't usually see them around here. Next step is to build a bird bath.
