Hey! That is a doggy bowl

This thirsty guy on the water bowl is a Red-winged Starling (Onychognathus nabouroup), and I will also show you a lovely little squirrel baby. It has been a hectic week, and so nice to sit down with a mug of coffee to discuss some of the events that occurred during the week. Although it looks like a sunny day it is a winter day with a weak sun and some sniping cold winds.

I am up and about again, even though my ankle has not fully recovered yet, but I am one of those persons that do what they have to do regardless of the circumstances. Imagine sleeping under cardboard sheets in the street at night during the cold.
