Biryani Recipe
Ingredients:
Rice: ½ kg
Chicken: ½ kg
Onion: 2 medium
Tomatoes: 2
Yogurt: 1 cup
Ginger garlic paste: 1 tablespoon
Biryani masala: 2 tablespoons
Green chilies: 2
Oil: ½ cup
Salt: to taste
Coriander and mint leaves: a little
Food color (optional)
Method:
1.First wash the rice and soak it for 20 minutes.
Heat oil in a pot and fry the onions until golden brown.
2.Add chicken and cook for 5 minutes.
Then add ginger garlic paste, tomatoes, yogurt, and biryani masala.
3.Cook for 10–15 minutes until the chicken becomes soft.
4.In another pot, boil the rice with salt until 70% cooked.
5.Now place the chicken at the bottom of a pot and put the rice on top (make layers).
6.Add coriander, mint leaves, and a little food color on top.
7.Cover the pot and cook on low heat (dum) for 10–15 minutes.
