Capital One in Blockchain-based Collaborative Authentication System
A statement published by US patent and trademark office has shown that Capital One, American banking corporation has filed for an authentication system powered by blockchain. An authentication system which is a collaborative one. The authentication system will enable users data to be received, stored, recorded and retrieved using the authentication information on a multiple blockchain based members platform.
This patent application is supposed continuation of patent application of Capital One from June 2017 of this year. Capital One has strong faith in blockchain as they have partnered with GEM with 2016 to solve the issues of healthcare insurance for patients.
