Nicehash: Marko Kobal announces his resignation at the head of the company

After a difficult end of year 2017, Nicehash, the company dedicated to cryptocurrency mining, begins the new year with a major change: the replacement of its CEO.

The hacking of Nicehash last December 6 is one of those events that have been the most leaked, a piracy followed by a huge loss of more than 60 million dollars in bitcoin.

The year is just beginning, and the famous cloud mining company is already doing one of the media, with another important news. This time, it is no longer a question of stolen money, but rather of change at the head of the company: the founder of Nicehash Marko Kobal has decided to leave the management of the company to the general surprise.

By resigning, Marko Kobal leaves his position as CEO in the hands of a new management team, as he explained on Linkedln.

The statement of the now ex-CEO of Nicehash:

"I will now stay away and allow the new leadership to lead the organization through its next and exciting growth period - so I decided to resign from NiceHash. "

A forced departure because of piracy?
Marko Kobal did not say whether he was really leaving Nicehash or just his position as CEO, but he still seems to be very attached to the Slovenian mining company.

Kobal has indeed confessed:

"I have been incredibly privileged to share the excitement of NiceHash's growth since its inception. I have every confidence in the ability of our team to develop the service, and I expect to see the company thrive in the years to come. "

The one who created the company in 2014 with the help of the famous "hacker" Matjaž Škorjanc also did not give the exact reasons for his departure. However, many observers believe that the famous hacking of December is at the origin of this unexpected departure.

Anyway, the new management of Nicehash has a lot of work to restore the blazon of the mining company, to start by repaying the funds of the investors who were stolen.
