How I became successful almost overnight
Printing and copying is everywhere, every city has a shop.... Or atleast you think ;)
Today, I will talk about my print shop, and how I became profitable in just the first few days of opening on social media!
I always wanted to be able to print pictures and large copies, I don't know why but I just thought it was cool, seeing these huge Xerox machines bump out 100 sheets a minute. Well, after doing a photography shoot I had to print some photos off. Scared to use all my ink, I went to Walmart where I spent $15 for just 8 Small 4"x6". This is when I thought, therr has to be a better way.
So I took a random picture from my DSLR, loaded up some old HP Photo Paper, and pressed the large "PRINT" button on my computer. Boom! Out comes a fabulous quality print, better than Walmart or Walgreens, with hardly any ink usage!
Next, I new I had something started here, and went to Staples to get card stock. As soon as I walked in, my friend working approached me and said all card stock is 50% off for a short time. Here I am loading up printing paper like not tomorrow. Mostly HP Premium Photo paper.
With some math, I am going to be making $45 per pack of card stock I bought, and sometimes more. $45 is an amazing pure-profit. But wait, there's even better things, keep reading!
I Was using my new-old HP OfficeJet 6830 to print pictures. Well, I was running out of ink and decided to look into HP Instant Ink. For $10/month, I can print Upto 300 sheets a month and get unlimited ink. Unused pages roll over each month. With a promo code, I get 3 months free of ink. Whenever you start to run low, HP received an automatic notification and within 2-3 days you have ink in your mailbox.
Well, remember how I said I grew overnight earlier? Yes. I did, and I ran out of ink so I was at Walmart last night talking to my family, seeing who could fund the next step in my company. I broke down and bought a OfficeJet 8702 (Like the new 8710). Well, I came home and started loading it up on the my shelf when I got scared. I didn't see it as Instant Ink elgible. After reading the manual, I had to set it up for HOME USE and not BUSINESS USE. It's a neat little trick I found.
Then, after registering it on Instant Ink, it came with 3 months free of unlimited ink, plus my promo code for an extra 3 months free, I get a total of 6 months free of unlimited ink on this huge printer!
I went to social media and made a simple Facebook page and invited my 1,200 friends. After a few days, I have had 70 likes roughly, 1 review, and on my last post, a reach of 150. I went from a reach of 8 to 150 within 48 hours.
What makes me different from any other print shop around me is I have a long list of payment options.
