In my opinion, the BTC boom now is reason to worry rather than to be happy about. Because central banks (and their political puppets) hate Cryptos - its a competitor to their own product, and they have difficulties to get it under their control. That makes me wonder how much longer they will allow this to continue. And lets face it: if they want it to stop, they will have the means to make it stop. As you said yourself, they make their own rules how the game is played.
