altcoins might actually suffer since most of the money coming in would be stock exchange type money it would mean that the money is locked into bitcoin and cant be moved into altcoins
your statement is right if i consider that 90% of the altcoin projects in the market are going to die eventually because either they are useless or for only a particular purpose!
some altcoins will still see a great ride as stock investors also diversify their investments in many potential companies just in-case if something goes wrong. :)
