Bitcoin halving is near

Today markets show us amazing confidence in bitcoin, just over sixty days before halving bitcoin dropped over 8% in panic selling.
Of course all of the crypto happily follow. At the time of writing steem is just 10% down .
I just don't understand what is going on. Because all the analysts were so bullish about bitcoin recently, this huge drop is so unexpected.
