Update: completed the split of BCH on the Ledger and sent the BCH to bittrex. Currently waiting on the 20 confirmations

I don't have enough bitcoin cash to sell it so I may end up waiting for it to start consolidating and buying some. That way when it looks like it's starting to go back up I'll be able to take profit.
Yes, something I am considering as well, but with the block times so slow the dynamic is still too risky for me.
