Warren Buffett Continues to Bash Bitcoin, Calling it ‘Rat Poison Squared’

No matter how much support Bitcoin garners from rest of the world, Warren Buffett seems to have decided that he’ll remain bearish on it. The 87 years old billionaire reiterated his bearish stance on cryptocurrencies once again at Berkshire Hathaway’s latest annual shareholders meeting on 5th of May, but this time in even harsher words than before.

According to a Wall Street Journal report, when asked about cryptocurrencies Warren Buffett once again said that “cryptocurrencies will come to a bad ending”. However, he didn’t end there and also called Bitcoin “rat poison squared”, according to CNBC reported Becky Quick who live-tweeted the entire meeting.

Buffett’s long-time partner and Berkshire Hathaway boss Charlie Munger also joined him in bashing Bitcoins, stating that to him cryptocurrency trading is like trading of turds.
