Will banks and the finance sector disappear ? I doubt it but they will need to adapt to survive as the "trustless transaction" model gains traction. What is certain is that the days of them acting as intermediaries, raking in high fees, and treating their retail customers badly are numbered. Crypto will have to find a way to engineer good governance , resolve disputes for it to truly replace the finance sector with smart contracts. This is not a trivial goal to achieve.
