Yes, but what assurance do you have it'll get there? Are there times where prices exceed my highest rung? Yes! Do i feel bad afterwards? NO! I gratefully accept my profits as I am now gratefully accepting my near 100% profit on Bitcoin Cash. I am also ladder selling my >55% profits on Bitcoin by unloading 2/3 of my holdings. I also try to have the humility to know that my method is not perfect but am happy to see my wealth growing.

Alas, my faith has failed me too many times and so rely on laddering.
Sell order filled at $700! Gaith sometimes works :D But I admit this was pretty lucky. Ladderig is the safer way to go!

haejin wants nothing more than for his readers to profit, with the lowest risk, both monetarily and mentally.
These markets are kind of like poker....who's got the big hand, who's controlling the board, who's playing games, and who are the guys waiting at the table all day for luck and faith to fail those who believe in it? A pro can spot the mark from the moment they sit down. In a big cash game, it only takes one wrong move you make on faith, or hoping for luck to lose everything in front of you. (Trust me, I've slept in the car after a HUGE 12 hour table run, because I didn't take my profits and run....ended up with nothing after 12 hours and 30 minutes)
It's a well known, and proven, strategy to steal as many small pots as you can in a game to gain the capital to make the big moves with everyone else's money you siphoned away with the smaller gains.
You can also bet on your favorite team and make way more money as long as you are willing to put all your chips in on faith. That hit you miss will definitely cause you to reconsider the approach.
I'm fairly certain haejin has plenty of faith, faith in the research, the numbers, and the patterns.
Honestly, I'm happy for everyone that held on for a better profit!
