Bitcoin: Could it reach $1m by 2020? (Prediction 2019)
The popular cryptocurrency enthusiast and founder of the anti-virus software McAfee Associates, John McAfee has always been quite out there when it comes to the price of Bitcoin. Recently, he has even predicted the BTC price to reach $1 million by 2020 which is a brave estimate, to say the least.
In mid-2017, the entrepreneur first spoke on Bitcoin saying that one BTC would be worth half a million by the end of 2020.

I grew up in McAfee, New Jersey. Pronounced MAK-a-fee.
I think this may be his way of trying to manipulate the market for his own gain (or get publicity). I think it will reach a million eventually but, IMO, I think 2020 is too soon. Someone who is very well known in the Bitcoin community told me years ago to hold 10 BTC, forget about them, and once day it would be more than enough to retire.
I agree, the timeframe seems too short. I like the predictions of $220,000 in 2021. It seems much more likely. 10 Bitcoin should e every early adopters goal.
That's closer to how I feel about the growth potential. It's pretty clear that BTC will eventually be used as the primary storehouse of wealth worldwide. I see Nano and some other fee-less coins overtaking VISA in the payments niche. These next two years will be so exciting.

I totally agree with this estimation. Although some eastern countries have already developed their adoption to blockchain other countries started to talk these adoption especially europe and Turkey. Thank you for this valuable post
