The first monument in honor of Satoshi Nakamoto in Ukraine

An initiative to erect a monument in honor of Satoshi Nakamoto in the capital of Ukraine is gaining momentum and support. Nakamoto, the creator of the first cryptocurrency, is known throughout the world although his identity has never been revealed. A statue will be placed where the stone statue of Lenin was, before it was demolished in 2013. According to rumors, the project is part of a global campaign to build monuments of Satoshi around of the world.

The first city in the world to build a statue of Satoshi Nakamoto

The speculations around Satoshi Nakamoto's identity suggest that this iconic character would actually be a group of people or even an artificial intelligence. Subject to discussion in the global community of Bitcoin and altcoins, he has not finished talking about him.

Kiev, the capital of Ukraine will be the first city in the world to erect such a monument. Its construction will follow several stages.

• The first is to make it available as a virtual monument. It will be visible through a mobile application.
• A petition will be submitted to the Kyiv State Administration and a fund-raising campaign for the construction and installation of the monument will take place during the second phase.

The character would be built at a carefully chosen location - and especially at the intersection of the main street "Khreshchatyk" of Kiev and the boulevard "Taras Shevchenko," where was the monument of Vladimir Lenin, the communist founder and leader of The soviet union.

If the Kiev authorities refuse the petition, the monument of Satoshi Nakamoto will be erected at another place. The city, along with many members of the global Bitcoin community, are enthusiastic about the project.

A global initiative in a Blockchain republic

The funds of the virtual monument come from the initiator of the project, Alexander Soroka.The Ukrainian entrepreneur and founder of the Startup Network investment platform, donated a Bitcoin (BTC).

The overall project concerns the founding of a new Republic, the Virtual Decentralized Blockchain Republic, and the construction of a city dedicated to Satoshi Nakamoto.

The Virtual Decentralized Blockchain Republic is looking for new ambassadors to raise funds for the purchase of tropical islands where Satoshi Nakamoto's monuments will be installed.
