What is ICO and how does ICO works?

An unregulated means by which funds are raised for a new cryptocurrency venture is the definition of an Initial Coin Offering or simply ICO.

An initial coin offering is used by the startups in order to bypass the various regulated capital raising process, required by venture capitalist or banks. In the ICO campaign, a few percentages of cryptocurrency is sold to early backers of the project, in exchange of legal tender or other cryptocurrencies, but usually for Bitcoin. So, the initial coin offering is also known as initial public coin offering, i.e. IPCO.

The initial coin offerings offer a high level of volatility, as the market comes up with an appropriate price for the asset. The ICOs are very similar to IPOs and crowd funding.

Surely, someone offers investor with some units to open new cryptocurrency or Crypto-token in exchange against Cryptocurrencies, like Bitcoin or Ethereum. Since 2013, these are often used to fund the development of budding cryptocurrencies. The ICOs has become a tool that could revolutionize not just currency, but also the whole financial system. These tokens could become the securities and shares of tomorrow.......
