Bitcoin Dominance at All-Time Lows - What does this means ?

in #bitcoin7 years ago
Bitcoin Dominance, as a percentage of total market cap, is falling at all-time lows at around 36%. This is due to a number of factors, namely BTC's fall-back to lower price levels and the recent rise of Ripple.

The bigger picture is that there's renewed investors interest in more obscur altcoins (the ''others'' gray line on the chart), in search of the next ''get rich quick'' opportunity.

I suspect this trend to be the new norm, since BTC supply is low, capped and faces an everyday increasing competition level from the altcoins. Moreover, the utility altcoins : faster, fee-less and serving a concrete use, are the next big thing among speculators.

This probably means that, in spite of the left-and-right most optimistic assumptions that BTC could go to the moon, the gains with the altcoin sectors could even be more spectacular.

There's a shift among the crypto investors, have you jumped on the train yet ?

Cheers!
