BTC - Bitcoin is besting Stocks... again
Bitcoin is again the best performing asset in the world
Bitcoin ended the last decade by being the best performing asset over the last 10 years, and it really wasn't even close.
It also ended last year being the best performing asset of the year, gaining close to 100% on the year.

Now, bitcoin is already starting the year as one of the best performing assets yet again.
Even besting the strong gains seen by stocks so far.
Bitcoin is currently up roughly 25% on the year, while the S&P and Dow are both up about 2% on the year.
Both the S&P and Dow saw outsized returns last year, returning 30% and 22% respectively, though as mentioned above, bitcoin dwarfed those gains by recording gains more than 3x those of US stocks.
If the past is any indication, this out-performance is going to really pick up throughout this year and next
We are now roughly 4 months away from bitcoin's next block reward halving.
Historically, bitcoin has seen a run up prior to the halving, and then a massive run up that starts several months post halving.
That run tends to take prices well beyond previous highs and last anywhere from 12-18 months.

That pattern would indicate prices are going to peak in mid to late 2021 and be significantly higher than they are today.
For all the stock investors out there, you better get used to bitcoin eating your lunch over the next 2 years.
It's going to happen a lot.
Stay informed my friends.

Bitcoin is the only asset in human history with a solid history of exponential growth. Sure, at this point I'm beating a dead horse, but even when Bitcoin loses 85% of its value during a bear market it still stays above that lower-bound exponential doubling line. It's pretty incredible.
Agreed. If that ever fails though, just about all the patterns go out the window. Hopefully that won't happen for a few more decades yet.
Great growth in the past, and moving forward into the future. Imagine if all those hedge fund managers, and investors had started accumulating Bitcoin years ago... think of the returns!
That's ok with me that they didn't. Hopefully they start now, with a cost basis above mine.
