Bitcoin at Lowest Level Since May

Bitcoin has seen a tough month so far.

Bitcoin being the worlds most popular cryptocurency sank to $6,558.14 on Monday, the lowest since May (according to CoinDesk). As China continues to accelerate a crackdown on businesses dealing with cryptocurrency, bitcoin as a result has lost more than $3000 in value in just a month.
This contradicts what President Xi Jinping signaled to be more open to the blockchain technology.
