Myspace was originally geared toward a niche community of musicians looking get exposure. Facebook started out a site for college students. Both of them began with a target niche. Although Bitcoin did not start with a singular niche, it did start with a small community of users and it is growing.
Bitcoin is starting to become undeniable. It is trading at over $4000 and even Wall Street is getting involved with instruments like the Bitcoin Investment Trust (GBTC) which at last check was trading over $700 a share. Well-known people are talking about it.
Beyond coverage and Bitcoin's market cap, another indicator to consider regarding adoption rate is the number of Bitcoin wallet users.
Currently the number of wallets is near 16 million. Will we see even larger growth for Bitcoin (like $10,000 and beyond) as this figure approaches 100 million?
