Yes it is true this is likely a possibility. Rather than waiting for forks I think some have went into coin lending. liteconnect, etherconnect, neoconnect. Hextracoin, Regalcoin, and Western coin. Crazy insane amount and they all request actual coins in their ICOs.
Im not seeing the value in Hextracoin..... it pays in USD and BTC way outpaced the interest it was paying..... I heard regal was a scam and I dont know about the others... Ill look
