Holding your Own Local Meetup about Crypto
Hi guys!
After being into crypto for a few months now it still surprises me how many people have no idea about all the cool things happening in the crypto word and what it means for us short term and long term. So I have decided to do something about it locally by having a bi-weekly meet up to introduce new people to the space.
Many people when learning about something new want to turn to some one who is expert or at least seems like one, I (not being a expert by any means) am still looking for people who I can learn from. So whats the best way to learn? By teaching!
Im going to be giving out sheets on the basics of a bit coin, block chain, etheruem, as well as a sheet on mining and what to look for buying equipment there, a sheet on day trading and resources to point them to get them started on day trading, and whatever top 10-20 ICO that look good that week to possibly invest/look into.
This idea is to bring a new person or some one just getting into it, better tools and access to others to ask questions, learn from mistakes, and grow together as community of crypto lovers/investors.
I write this encouraging you to check out the MeetUp app and see if you local city has any meet up related to crypto. I noticed in the whole Dallas Fortworth there was not one meet up related to crypto, bitcoin anything!!
Just imagine all these cool apps like coinigy that give you discount codes and referral codes for ico's as well. It could pay off. So im looking forward to the new friends ill make the potential community to be built in the coming weeks and months. Ill post updates on here.
Great idea. Also, if you put together a good powerpoint you could probly consult for a fee....
Right now im planing out Sheets of paper that will discribe blockchain, bitcoin, ether, how to invest, where to invest, what mining is, and then a list of weekly ico to invest in with my refferal code for the ones i already have.
I recommend some basic Austrian economics, as opposed to keynes. The Bitcoin white paper says "inflation free" because inflation is the worst thing afflicting humanity for hundreds of years now. Powerpoint would probably be the best presentation format...
My issue with the PowerPoint because I'm doing this in a local coffee shop I don't have a room set aside to hold the meeting in. My guess is that would be next when I can afford a room or meet some one that could provide one
I am considering bringing my laptop with the PowerPoint now so I do thank you for the suggestion
