Here Is The Number One Reason Why You Should Avoid Investing In HYIPs!

in #bitcoin7 years ago

In this video I talk about the importance of building a long term business and why you may want to avoid investing in an HYIPs. When you do not own the platform you have no control and you do not have the data to assess how long a particular program will run.

If you want to be here for the long term and build a great reputation online it is always best to have people's best interest at heart when referring them to programs.

You would hopefully like to see the relationships that you build last a lot longer than the programs that you refer people to and the only way to do this is to ensure that you are referring people to programs that do not put their money in harms way.

Sort:

after this ico/crypto world , hyip imho are collapsing.

maybe icos are the new hyip :)

@thecryptotrader perhaps or the new penny stocks of the world.

Damn...I haven't messed with a HYIP in almost a decade...I forgot they existed.

You'd think with all of these opportunities people would try to run a more legit operation...but nope...still the same.

I wonder if my MoneyMakerGroup forum account still exists...

@reyhaynes these things are easy to setup and there is a ready available pool of people that cannot wait to invest, so that is why they continue to pop up.

That's a true tip. Because you will lose more if you lose such people who trust you after referring them to such programs etc.

@patrickpeace that is also why I very rarely refer people to anything which is to not have that responsibility.

Some people have the tendency of referring people before they test it themselves and see its reliability. That's irresponsibility indeed. I once did that some time back and learnt from my mistake. I even invited people who respected me only to find out that it was a ponzi scheme and not profitable as we thought

@patrickpeace yeah unfortunately a lot of people (myself included in the past) have done this and ended up regretting it. Sometimes we just need to take a step back and evaluate the opportunity first even if we do not make as much money because we waited to do our due diligence first.

Yeah you are right. I guess if you think its worth inviting them at first, make it clear to them that its a risk because you have not yet tested and tried it. That way they will not join blindfolded. You know...some people I lost their confidence in me due to those things. Even now they hesitate to invest in real opportunities that I present to them...they take long before they give in

@patrickpeace yeah that is unfortunate as some of these scams/programs go to great depths to pass off as something legitimate when in fact it was what it really was to begin with.

However, I have had people that followed me into something and vice-versa. but is the chance that we all take with these programs. Not a fun experience and nothing that I wish to repeat.

Yeah. Well said indeed

@patrickpeace thank you for your feedback.

I recommend this video!!
👀👍
Especially before you try out CONTROL FINANCE or Bitconnect.

And personally, I say, stay away!!

Sean....curious if my question yesterday encouraged you to get this up and put out?
I did share it with my friend!! Hopefully he listens to your wisdom!
Peace ✌

@em3 No, as all of my videos are pretty much scheduled. I have a plan on which one's get put on the Steemit platform. However, I'm glad that you shared the video with a friend.

Np
Still gotta go and read your "why leaving the USA" post (or watch, if their is a video in there)

@em3 Yes there is a video on my YT channel but I will post it on my Steemit blog in a few.

Great info! Relationships are way more important than just selling random programs to people and ruining that relationship!

@awarenessraiser yes indeed as if you build these relationship with people that follow you and you do right by them there is not a program that they would not follow you into. That is why I say just refer people into something that is going to be here for the long term and it will be a win win for everyone.

I definitely will not feel good knowing that I recommended people into a programme that have a high chance of disappearing. Even if I have warned them about it being high risk I will always feel guilt and the other person will always blame you.

@marcusxman yeah and that is kind of why I do not refer people into anything now especially if I know that it is high risk (outside of HYIP's) as there are a lot of things still high risk in other niches that I do not talk about. You are also right that no matter if you warned them ahead of time you will still get the blame if it fails.

Another great video from you that will certainly add value to your followers. Keep steeming bro
