I think that is reasonable honestly. I understand why people want to roll the dice on it and if you are warning everyone that it could go away any second.
The other thing to consider though before you convert BTC to BCC is that if you just hold onto the BTC until after Nov 18th you will likely have the Segwit 2x fork coins.
