Theta Token - The Next Decentralized Youtube?
Theta token is a new decentralized video sharing website that recently come onto many of the exchanges and i have a feeling this site could be the next decentralized Youtube.
Theta token is one i personally invested into myself, and for a few simple reasons.
First of all, the idea behind decentralized streaming video sites is solid, by having "miners" host the videos it will not only lower costs but has the possibility to increase network speeds and reliability.
The main reason i invested into this one, was because who is behind this team and who invested into it.
The founder of this project is Mitch Liu, founder of Sliver.tv and notable advisors include Steven Chen one of the founders of Youtube, along with Justin Kan one of the co founders of Twitch.tv.
Along with these big names creating the system, Samsung and Sony have invested into this along with many other big companies.
I've had my eye on this for a while and I might invest. Nice post!
