Why is Google so negative on Bitcoin? ...And what about STEEM?

in #bitcoin8 years ago
  • Is Bitcoin dead? NO!
  • Is Bitcoin worthless? NO!
  • Is Bitcoin a bubble? NO!
  • Is Bitcoin over? NO!
  • Is Bitcoin a ponzi scheme? NO!
  • Is Bitcoin dying? NO!

Should I report this as inappropriate predictions? ;-)
Bitcoin is definitely not dying as a worthless ponzi scheme!

Steemit

Google doesn't seem to be very positive on Steemit either...

Is STEEM...?

Trying "Is STEEM..." on Google is more interesting. People seem to wonder if STEEM is an ERC20 token or not.

  • Is STEEM a good investment in 2018? I say YES!
  • Is STEEM an ERC20 token? No
  • Is STEEM on Binance? YES!
  • Is STEEM proof of stake? YES! ...DPoS te be more precise.
  • Is STEEM minable? ...Nope

What about STEEM?
Steemit uses the evil tracking, datamining and at times seemingly POW mining Google as its search engine, instead of Duckduckgo.

It is not a surprise, given what its technical manager thinks:
https://steemit.com/steemit/@ura-soul/just-so-we-re-clear-the-tech-manager-of-steemit-is-anti-democracy-and-pro-oligarchy-in-his-own-words

Not to mention that everyone with a few months of experience here knows that he does not do his job, and neither does the CEO.

Its because these days bitcoin came down and then confusion started in the mind of people its totally negative.

I agree, but your reply is relevant to the main thread and not to my comment.

Sad but true I think if this platform was truly about democracy we would have account based voting as that is how a democracy works one man one vote, would also be interesting to see what would happened if self voting was blocked, at least it would make people work a bit harder.

I read that there will be another currency on the STEEM blockchain, that will implement democracy and its cost for its adopters will be forfeiture of any remnant of plausible deniability /anonymity /privacy that they still had.
Meritocracy is a good idea, better than democracy, but premining made it implemented in a bad way.

It will increase the average number of account per person even more.
Whomever smart enough and caring enough for his success here will ping pong votes between 2 accounts or more.

Awesome idea for a post! 👍

i think it is trying to give bad reputation of steemit ... thats sad because for me steemit is opposite to all those allegations ..

Google is all about centralization, and having control, so they will never view anything decentralized in a positive light.

thumbs up !!!

Thanks for this motivational post !

if the Steemit concept gains broader audience Zuckerberg and Facebook and Google fellows will loose some billions....

jealousy : they couldn't come up with this technology first 😐

Nice post, this highlights the subtle censorship that google is carrying out on a daily basis.

Google would argue that these results are the most relevant or popular to people.

I would argue that these can be easily manipulated and thus like the mainstream media, "tell people what to think about".

I recommend duckduckgo.com to everyone, it's not perfect but you can still find a few independent content creators, articles or stories.

In addition to my previous comment i kind of think it would be nice if (@ned or someone?) removed google search from steemit & replaced it with it's own search engine, something that could find the good articles on steemit that google is hiding.

Its because the whole Crypto Industry is a fundamental threat to Google's strategic business model of buying potential competitors before they get big enough to trigger anti-trust law. See here for more details.

google has fear about cryptocurrency thats why
