Do crypto-developers have your best interest at heart?

This is an interesting article that gives some perspective on how second generation developers might not have the success of the cryptocoin they are working on as main priority.

When they were not part of the pre-mine, they'll have at best an average amount of coins, and probably their motivation is just to contribute enough to get added Schnorr signatures. No incentive for quality or hard background no-ego-filling work. So quality will decrease and fewer people will do the leg work needed to make the project lift off.

It's an interesting perspective to consider when evaluating different coins, and their future.
