RE: Cryptocurrencies and Unconventional Warfare

Thanks for sharing your unique perspective. My main thought reading this is: This all works well when you have internet access, but many areas of conflict have destroyed infrastructure making that very difficult.

Sort:

While this is true to an extent, most countries at least have cellular coverage. The vast majority of the world has cell phones, actually. Like Andreas Antonopolous always discusses, people can send transactions via Nokia feature phone over text. Implementation may be a challenge, but demonstrating the capability would be simple and very effective.

Most situations where these sorts of tactics are employed are in areas where the conflict is not 'hot' yet. If its in a live war zone like Syria, it would most definitely be less effective since most people are either looking for food or bullets. Great point, though! Thanks for reading and responding!
