Facebook increasingly declare 'war' with one type of digital currency. After making a policy prohibiting the circulation of bitcoin ads on Facebook, turn top Facebook messenger spoke about the relationship Facebook and cryptocurrency.

David Marcus, vice president of Facebook Messenger reveals the costly and slow process of making cryptocurrency difficult to use on the platform.

"The current cryptocurrency payments are very long and expensive, so nowadays various communities are trying to solve all the issues," said Marcus.

He recommends people to focus more on the exchange process.

"Payments are actually made at home in an environment to communicate, and the experience is completely non-rubbing, because payments with debit cards only result in paying experience with debit cards," Marcus said.

However, Marcus did not rule out Facebook to change its principles in the future.

"As regulation in the industry is clearer and there are better products to market through the platform, we will find a way to reintroduce cryptocurrency," Marcus said.

But right now, Marcus sees the digital currency industry is worried about what has happened to the industry.

In relation to Facebook's policy on the prohibition of advertising circulation of cryptocurrency on the platform, Marcus gave a flat agreement.

"We want to protect the public, it's the ultimate responsibility, all the important people in this industry thank me for what Facebook has done, in fact most of the ads contain fraud and we can not let fraud circulate in our platform," Marcus.
