Coinbase Not Supporting Bitcoin Cash (BCC)

So it's July 25th and the bitcoin fork is inconclusive and I decide to buy some BTC on my Coinbase account. I used my bank account as the payment method to avoid the extra credit card fees that Bank of America charges me(because Coinbase is in the UK).

In about 3 days the money is taken out of my bank account but of course Coinbase won't give me the BTC yet because they have a 7 day policy. Only then do they decide to announces the following:

"Coinbase does not support Bitcoin Cash (BCC)."

What?! I can't cancel my bank order now. And it will only come in on August 1st so I can't move it before the fork. This meant I wouldn't be able to get my Bitcoin Cash out of my BTC.

Of course contacting them would do nothing because they might decide to reply in two weeks, by which it would be too late.

Although the price of BTC over this period did rise and I was able to make a couple of extra bucks, it really hurts to know I could of had that same amount of Bitcoin Cash. With Bitcoin Cash at jumping prices of about $200-$800 (At time of article $625)

So my loss, if Coinbase would have made this announcement any sooner I would have purchased instantly with a Credit Card and transferred my BTC to Bittrex(which automatically rewarded it's users with an equal amount of Bitcoin Cash[BCC])
