Is 1MB Block size right for Bitcoin?

In an article at coindesk, there is an interesting discussion regarding right block size of Bitcoin.

Finally, every one must agree, as article said: "Blockchain scalability is not an easy fix. It is only with slow, steady, and creative problem solving and development that it will be addressed."
