Financial Supervisory Service in South Korea strongly warns banks not to give out Bitcoins to Hackers.
Recently, South Korea Financial Supervisory Service request local banks through offical letter not to give Bitcoins to the hacker group called
"Armada Collective" who threatened a dozen of South Korean banks.
They basically said if the banks don't pay up with Bitcoins by 28th, they will DDOS the system.
Right before this incident, there was web hosting company in South Korea got hacked by reportedly Chinese hackers and paid 550 Bitcoins.
That might have caused all the hackers to think South Koreans are golden goose.
If they do DDOS those banks, what do you guys think the damage will be like?
