RE: Bitcoin rises in price to $2900, the market capitalization of cryptocurrency has now exceeded $100 billion.

"Resistance is futile" to quote a Vogon.

There are 8 crypto coins with a market cap over $1b now. It's not all about Bitcoin these days. I wonder if we will see it get overtaken by others in the next year or so. They need to sort issues with fees and transaction times if people are going to use it.

Gotta love the fee-free Steemit :) I predict a top 10 finish by the year end @steevc :)

Maybe sooner than that. Needs to join the $1b club to get there. I've only been watching the charts for a short time, but seen massive changes.

Steem for me has made it for me when it breaks its $4 high and there is a Steem/USD market! :)

That could happen in the next month or two at this rate

I promised @meesterboom a video of downing a beer in one once it does it ;)

Sooner than we thought eh!!!

I best go buy more beer soon ... and I'm still on bloody holiday! Oh what a shame!! :))

Never a shame to be on holiday!!! I go in a fortnight!

We are predicting more and $10.000 per bitcoin is not impossible!

It's possible, but nobody really knows for sure

well said
No one know
But There is a mass of new liquidity that is being pumped into the bitcoin economy and the crypto space in general.
As bitcoin and steemit keep hitting all time highs,
More and more articles are published that highlight its increasing value and infrastructure which leads to more capital entering the space
which continues to put upward pressure on the price.

I think things will change as people actually use these things and are not just speculating on them. Bitcoin already has uses. Steem can be used to pay for goods with no fees and instant transfers, so may be more attractive in some cases. This is just the start.

I agree fully with you
For steem it is just start .. most of my friend did instant transfer from steemit to Xapo ( bitcoin) and buy good directly or withdraw from ATM using visa card from Xapo

I'm looking to get a debit card using crypto. Xapo is one option. You get charged for ATM withdrawals, but can buy goods with no fee. I was looking at Bitwala as they take Steem directly

Yes you are right
I used Xapo card for a long period
Xapo is charged for atm
I use it for buying good
Thanks for info
I will check Bitwala
Anyway In steem I am new for now
and for moment I need to rise my power
Thanks for comment and time spent with me
Have a great day

Let's rise our power all Steemit family :) It is the best time ever to grow in steem!

Didn't try Bitwala yet, but hopefully it is legit to use it for our Steem :)

@teambitwala are on here, but have not posted in a long time.
