This could be good. I am opposite of a software developer but I am a software USER and I know we need a live streaming video application ON steemit. Yes we can go outside to YouTube or fakebook but why? We need to develop a LIVESTEEMING app or plug-in that is proprietary to steemit. Sure it can be used and amended by all as a blockchain application but is needs to be native to steemit.we need to pull people into our world here, not direct them to another app(YouTube) for content.
Is this possible @dasflikko? Am I living in a dreamworld or can it be done? And how can I help?

Hmm, that's a great question. To be honest I haven't looked into the Steem platform and what one can and cannot build on top of it. Research must be done!
