Bitcoin opens store in Croatia to exchange cryptocurrencies
Cryptocurrencies continue to expand throughout the world and Croatia is no exception. It turns out that, now, a Bitcoin store has opened in the East Euroa nation to sell this cryptoactive as well as others. The establishment is one of the many steps that the country is taking to join the encryption market.
The store is located in the city of Split, an important tourist destination on the south coast of the country for people from different parts of the world.
With this establishment, more people will have access to cryptocurrencies in an easier way. Also, it will be a good way to promote Bitcoin, because it will make the cryptoactives visible to all the tourists of the place.
For its part, the store will offer sales of Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH) and other important cryptocurrencies, as reported by Bitfalls.
The project was presented by the Croatian cryptanalyst Bitkonan and decided to start operations on Hrvatske Mornarice Street. As part of the transactions, they will offer a receipt and a proof of purchase to the clients to facilitate the individual tax report.
However, it is not the only thing. Bitkonan also plans to expand the store to other cities in Croatia, including Zagreb and Rijeka.
On the other hand, the nation has decided to create a self-regulatory body known as UBIK. The main objective is to spread knowledge about these technologies and how they can influence the lives of many Croatian citizens.
The agency has registered on February 13 and began operating on the 17th of the same month. To date, more than 70 members have decided to join UBIK and hope that more are ready to join soon. So far, the main interests of the agency are related to taxes and regulations.
As is well known, Croatia is showing a growing interest in both cryptocurrencies and ICO, being very important for investors and people to have a better operational regulatory framework in the country.
