DPOS yes but i still don't dare to work with bitUSD for example. I don't see how it can stay pegged to dollar in case BTS would drop to less than half or third of its value.
bitUSD is a novel approach to utilizing smart contracts with a very simple objective - establish a degree of trust in environments where trust it at a premium (like the internet). It functions well under most circumstances and the future looks promising for bitUSD.
