Interesting.
I have a theory that one factor keeping bitshares back is the investigation of Tether (USDT).
I think that bitUSD is objectively better than Tether as it requires additional capital (2x I believe, with additional capital calls).
However, I think the specter of Tether enforcement suggests that rules around cryptodollars could be on their way.

Interesting theory, but BitUSD is just one of many UIAs. I think BitShares is doing very well and will find it's place as the market cap for all cryptos grows.

Agreed. I'm a holder. I think the versatility and decentralized nature of the exchange are fantastic. And as liquidity grows it will further support the BitShares network.
