Sorry for the confusion on my part.
If you're using the reference wallet or wallet.bitshares.org wallet then to vote, you need to unlock your BTS wallet. In the menu, click on voting, and then enter kimchi-king in the box located at the top left of your wallet. The final step is to click save and then confirm the change. Please see the image below.
